curriculum
at Ludington Area Catholic is strong in academics and
spirituality and
includes daily Religion
classes, Social
Studies, Mathematics, Hands-On Science, Language Arts,
Music, Computer Science, Spanish, Art, and Physical Education,
taught by dedicated & certified teachers.
The staff
of Ludington Area Catholic is
dedicated to their students and are outstanding role models.
The teachers and administrator
are all state certified, holding a variety of levels
of certification: Provisional, Professional , Permanent, or
Continuing Education. A number of staff members hold
advanced degrees.
In addition, faculty members are Certified Catechists through the
Diocese of Grand Rapids.
Several teachers have received awards as Teacher of the Year
by various organizations such as Wal-Mart Corporation, The
Diocese of Grand Rapids and the American Legion. A
team of teachers has been included in the MI-Champions program
for technology integration
for the
2008-2009 school year to more effectively utilize technology
with students. Two teachers and a teacher aide were recognized
as Unsung Heroes by Hospice of Mason County for 2009
and 2010.
Staff members are actively
involved in school, parish, and community activities.
